Charity For Cancer Pub Crawl Registry Opening; Crawl for the Cause April 30

The Crawl for the Cause, Families United 2022 pub crawl registration opens on March 9 at HDs Sports Bar in Dodge City and will continue until March 30.


The purpose of the event is to raise money for four families impacted by cancer.


The recipients are Jaden Smith, Monica Velasquez, Rhonda McLaughlin, and Mindy Rehmert.


The event will be done in teams of five-to-eight people, everyone must be, of course, 21 or older to participate.


Registration is $50 per person. The entry fee includes shirt, appetizers at Central Station Bar and Grill, two pitchers per team per stop, amounting to five stops equaling 10 pitchers total, and cover charge at Central Station the night of the pub crawl.


Registering teams will need to include their team’s name, as well as the team captain’s information on the registration form.


The team captain will be the point of contact and team representative. Team captain will be responsible for the team’s packet, including the pitcher vouchers and tickets, as well as making sure their team is on and off the bus. People not on the buses in time will be left behind.


The first 180 people registered and paid will get to ride the buses. Post-180 registered teams may still participate but will be responsible for their own means of transportation.


This year is going to be a Create Your Own Theme with prizes for “Best Dressed” teams.


The Crawl for the Cause, Families United 2022 pub crawl will begin Saturday, April 30, starting at 4 p.m. at Central Station Bar and Grill located at 207 E. Wyatt Earp Blvd.


Cash and/or checks are due at time of registration, checks can be made out to Central Station.


Those who cannot participate but would still like to show support, can purchase a shirt for $25.


Raffle tickets will also be sold for prizes and freewill donations will be accepted.


Registration opens on March 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at HD’s Sports Bar located at 2600 Central Ave. Suite 3. No registrations will be accepted after March 30.
