Dodge City Woman Killed in Collision Crash

A head-on collision between two vehicles on Ford County/Hodgeman County line killed a 21-year-old Dodge City, Kan. woman on May 16.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) crashlog, the crash occurred when a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck was southbound on 210 Road, and a 2013 Ford Explorer, where the woman was in, was northbound.
The Ram went left of center and both vehicles collided head-on as they both attempted to avoid each other.
The victim, Angelina Perez-Velasquez, Dodge City, died at the scene. The KHP crashlog stated she was not wearing a seatbelt.
The Ram’s driver, Dalton Kuhlman, 24, Dodge City was transported to Centura St. Catherine Hospital-Dodge City for minor injuries, while the Explorer’s driver, Juan Ramos-Ortiz, 25, Dodge City and a two-year-old passenger were transported for serious injuries.
KHP stated the rest of the involved were wearing seatbelts.
