Eastbound U.S. 50/400 to Close in Kearny, Finney Counties for Railroad Crossing Repair

The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) will be closing eastbound U.S. 50/400 starting Wednesday, June 1, until Monday, June 13.
"The closure is necessary to allow Pioneer Lines to replace the crossing and concrete pavement located 5 miles west of Garden City between North Sherlock and North Anderson," said KDOT in a press release.
Signs will direct traffic to follow the signed detour on K-25, K-96 and U.S. 83.
KDOT uses state highways for official detour routes for safety, weight and maintenance concerns. See the route outlined in blue on the map below.
