Garden City Police Department make Felony Arrest;

A dispatch to a suspicious vehicle led Garden City Police Department (GCPD) to a felony arrest on Aug. 2.
Cameron Taylor, 31, Garden City, Kan. was arrested on Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, Convicted of Stolen Property of Firearm, Possession of Stimulants, Possession of Marijuana, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Following a call, GCPD located and identified Taylor on 1300 block of W. Fulton Street for a suspicious vehicle. Taylor was asleep in the driver’s seat.
GCPD had knowledge Taylor is a convicted felon in Kansas.
Through further investigation, officers located a stolen firearm on Taylor and took him into custody.
A following search of the vehicle was conducted, with officers finding an additional firearm, suspected stimulants and marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Taylor was lodged in the Finney County Jail.
