Three-straight wins to open the season is the best start for the Dodge City men's soccer program since the 2012 season as the Conquistadors picked up a 3-0 win over Southeast to move to 3-0 on the season.

The first half would be back-and-forth and both teams had some looks, but neither would be able to breakthrough leaving the game scoreless headed into halftime. In the second half the Conqs finally broke through in the 55th as Ryui Akiyama netted his first goal of his Conq career. The lead grew to 2-0 after Malon Lopez finished a Diego Marcelino Olivares cross for his fourth goal of the season. Jose Holguin added another goal for the Conqs in the final minutes of the match to cap the game at 3-0 for the Conqs.

In the win the Conqs outshot Southeast 18-6 while recording their second-straight shutout. Erik Zalaya picked up the win goal, as Akiyama, Lopez, and Holguin each had a goal. Andres Rocha, Olivares, and Janik Buch each recorded an assist.

Up next the Conqs open KJCCC action as they will host Cowley on Wednesday, August 31st at 3:00 pm.
