The Masterson Brothers’ Story Featured in 2nd Season of INSP’s Original Series Wild West Chronicle

In the second season of the historical docudrama series Wild West Chronicles on the INSP network, the stories of Bat, Edgar, and James Masterson, will be featured starting on Aug.11.

The series will tell stories of the Masterson’s brother's rough times in even rougher Dodge City, Kan.

Episodes will air consecutively at 8 p.m. eastern-time on general entertainment television network INSP.

The Wild West Chronicles tells the story of once feared lawman, the legendary Bat Masterson as he trades his sheriff’s badge for a pen to chase stories instead of outlaws.

Each week, the gunslinger-turned-newspaperman travels the frontier to chronicle the wildest stories of the Old West.

“The Masterson Brothers, Part 1” will air Thursday, Aug. 11 at 8 p.m.

A brief summary of the episode reads, “After Marshal Ed Masterson is shot while trying to break up a barroom brawl, he hastily bans all firearms in Dodge City. Ed’s swift proclamation is met with disdain, even from his own brothers, and places an even larger target on his back.”

“The Masterson Brothers, Part 2” will air Thursday, Aug. 11 at 8:30 p.m.

The second episode summary reads, “After Marshal Ed Masterson is killed in Dodge City, his youngest brother, James, follows in his footsteps and becomes a lawman. But when James’ life is threatened, middle brother Bat Masterson races back from Arizona to protect his kin.”
