Women's Golf Wins Jayhawk Match III Tournament to Sweep Jayhawk Conference Action

The Dodge City women's golf team made it a clean sweep of the Jayhawk Conference tournaments in the spring as they dominated the competition again this time in Fort Scott at Woodland Hills golf course.

The Conquistadors put together a two-round team score of 671 to win by 30-strokes at the Jayhawk Match III in Fort Scott.

It was once again Thitapha Iamtragul pacing the way for the Conqs as she won another tournament this time shooting a +11 over two-rounds finishing with a 155 behind rounds of 78 and 77.

Alyssa McMillen carded a 161 to finish in second place with a +17 for the tournament, while Tanika Yadilokwong placed fourth behind a 169.

Payton Ginter finished out the Conqs team score as she finished tied for seventh behind a 186.

Caelyn Cook posted a 190 to finish tied for 10th place, while Jaela Albers shot a 196 to place 14th and Lauren Specht tied for 18th with a 199.

The Conqs now turn their attention to competition at the Region VI Championships on April 25th and April 26th at Rolling Meadows golf course in Manhattan.
