It will be a new look for the Dodge City women's soccer team when they step on the pitch for the 2022 season, as second-year Head Coach Javier Holguin will have a roster filled with brand new faces.

After finishing 3-11 in year one, Coach Holguin hopes a full off-season program and period for recruiting will help push the Conquistadors in the right direction and take a step forward in year two under his guidance. The Conqs are picked to finish fifth in the KJCCC Predicted Order of Finish for the 2022 season.

Three returners will look to help lead the way for Coach Holguin with leadership and more. The trio of Laura Gomez, Fernanda Olivas, and Angela Valoy return for the Conqs after suiting up last year. Gomez played in 13 of the team's 14 games last year and recorded one assist last year, Olivas played in 12 of the team's contests, and Valoy saw action in 11 games finishing with one goal and one assist. The rest of the team will feature newcomers that bring a great level of talent and will look to step in right away for the Conqs.

The new look Conqs will commence the 2022 season with a non-conference tilt against Southeast on Saturday, August 27th at 1:00 pm at home. Jayhawk Conference play starts with a showdown against Cowley on August 31st at home at 5:30 pm. Conqs will then play Pratt in a non-conference matchup on September 3rd. In Conference play the Conqs have home-and-home series with fellow West division schools Cowley, Hutchinson, Garden City, and Barton, with single contests against the East division playing Coffeyville and KCK on the road while hosting Johnson County and Neosho County. The regular season will wrap up for the Conqs with a road contest against Garden City on Wednesday, October 19th.

All Conq home soccer matches are free to attend and played at Memorial Stadium.
