Women's Soccer Plays to 2-2 Tie at Pratt

Dodge City women's soccer was back on the pitch for their second match of the season as they traveled down the road to take on Pratt and would play to a 2-2 tie.
The Conquistadors with the double overtime tie moved to 1-0-1 on the season.
In the first half, the Conqs had some early opportunities, but it was a counterattack in the 14th minute by Pratt that netted the first goal of the contest. The Conqs would push back throughout the first half and in the final minute just before halftime, Yui Fujii went top shelf to even the game at 1-1 heading into halftime.
The lead flipped to the Conqs in the 62nd minute when Sian Cha blasted a goal in from nearly 30-yards out after a throw-in from Alex Sibrikova. Seven minutes later Pratt fired a shot on goal and Joelle Brand would get a deflection save, but the ball was left open and on the rebound, Pratt found a way to tie the match.
In the overtime periods, the Conqs fired multiple opportunities but were unable to snag another goal finishing with a 2-2 tie.
Conqs would outshoot Pratt in the matchup 28-11, including 16 shots in the first half.
Up next the Conqs will host Barton in KJCCC action on Wednesday, September 7th following the men's game.
