K95 is the radio home for Kansas State Wildcat Athletics.

95.5 FM began broadcasting to Dodge City in May of 1966 as KGNO-FM, the FM counterpart to the AM station 1370 KGNO. It played a format called "Beautiful Music." It was the first FM radio station in Dodge City.
In May 1980, the call letters were changed to KDCK (Dodge City Kansas,) and it became know a 95DCK playing Rock and Roll. The name was eventually changed to K95.
In December of 1993 the call letter changed again to KOLS, and the name and format were changed again. Magic 95 broadcast Light Adult Contemporary music.
On January 1, 2008, the station took on its current call letters, KAHE and rebranded to Super Hits K95.
The "retro" logo from the 1990s was updated and brought back in 2024 .
