







1370 KGNO
1370 KGNO is Dodge City’s FIRST radio station, signed on in June of 1930 and in nearly 100 years has covered many notable events. In 1936 Franklin D. Roosevelt announced his presidential reelection campaign at the Santa Fe Depot in Dodge City and it was broadcast on KGNO. In 1958 the cast of Gunsmoke, James Arness as Matt Dillon, Amanda Blake as Miss Kitty, and Milburn Stone as Doc, were present during the official opening of the Front Street Replica at Boot Hill Museum, KGNO broadcast the event, as well as the renaming of Walnut Street to Gunsmoke Street. KGNO was also one of the very first radio affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, and KU Jayhawks, both of which still play here.

On weekdays tune in to hear the Kansas Farm and Ranch Radio Network "Farm and Ranch Today" at 6am. The KXXX Auction Block at 8:05am, Followed by "Who scheduled this? with Cray Schilling from 8:30-10am. The nationally Syndicated Erick Erickson Show runs Weekdays from 11-2. Plus the latest Town Hall News updates, market and farm reports from Kansas Farm and Ranch Radio, and the biggest country songs and artists from the 80s and 90s. Hear Weekend in the Country from 10-Noon on Saturdays, and Red Steagall's Cowboy Corner at 1pm on Saturday and Sunday.
KGNO is also the home of KU Jayhawk Football and Basketball, Kansas City Royals Baseball, and The NFL on Westwood One.
