Mornings with Josh Roesener on 96.3 The Marshal began December 5, 2008 with the goal of bringing the biggest variety of country music possible to Southwest Kansas. Josh also works to bring local and relevant news and information to the airwaves, with regular interviews featuring local government, schools, Chamber of Commerce, Dodge City Tourism, and many area charitable organizations and events.
As a life long Dodge City resident Josh is in tune with what is happening in the area and works to keep listeners informed, and entertained.
In 2010 Josh began playing Red Dirt and Texas Country and eventually joined the Texas Regional Radio Report. Josh started Red Dirt Friday in 2011 and it quickly became on of the most popular features on the radio station. Since then Josh and the Marshal have been nominated for Out of Region Station and Air Personality of the Year several times, with Josh winning Out of Region Air Personality three times, most recently in 2015, 2025, and 2026, and picking up out of Region Station of the Year in 2026.
Each morning at 7:30 Josh features unique and interesting historical facts about Dodge City and the area on Today is Southwest Kansas History.
In 2025 Josh was awarded the Bronco Buster Award by the Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce. Joined by Boot Hill Museum, Radio Station staff and friends.
